Prayer for the Sick

O Christ, who alone art our Defender, speedily from on high visit Thy suffering servants, delivering them from sickness and bitter pains; raise them up that they may sing to Thee and praise Thee without ceasing by the prayers of the Mother of God, O Thou who alone lovest mankind.

Prayer For Those Departed

We pray for the blessed and ever-memorable most holy Orthodox Patriarchs, and for all our fathers and brethren, the Orthodox gone to rest before us, who lie here and everywhere.

We pray Thee, O All-Holy Master to give rest to the souls of Thy servants, in a place of brightness, a place of green pasture, a place of repose, where all sickness, sorrow and sighing are fled away. Pardon every sin committed by them in word, deed or thought.
